Welcome my friends! In today’s video, I’m excited to share with you the perfect recipe for making Saya Bread. This traditional bread is incredibly fluffy and soft, with layers that melt in your mouth. Follow along with my step-by-step guide to create this delicious treat at home. Get ready for some fun in the kitchen! Here's what you'll need: ✓ 3 cups of flour ✓ 1 cup of cold milk (make sure it's cold, like your ex's heart) ✓ 5 tablespoons of yogurt (the plain kind, not the fruity stuff) ✓ 1 tablespoon of baking powder (this is where the magic happens) ✓ ½ cup of oil (think of it as the lube for your dough) ✓ 1 teaspoon of salt (for that little extra zing) ✓ 1 egg (the versatile wonder) ✓ 100 grams of butter (butter makes everything better) Here's the game plan: 1. Start by sifting the baking powder over the flour. Add salt and mix it up like you're stirring gossip at a family reunion. 2. Pour in the cold milk, toss in the yogurt, and knead the dough until it's no longer sticking to your hands. The dough should be soft and smooth, like a baby's bottom. 3. Divide the dough into four pieces and roll each one into a ball. Cover them with plastic wrap so they don’t dry out (nobody likes dry dough balls). Now, for the fun part: 1. Mix the softened butter with the oil until they become best friends. 2. Lightly flour your work area and take the first piece of dough. Stretch it out as much as you can, like you're trying to reach the last cookie on the top shelf. 3. Repeat with the second piece of dough. Spread the butter-oil mixture on the first layer, place the second layer on top, and keep going until you've used up all the dough. 4. Roll the dough tightly from the bottom up, like you're making a giant doughy burrito. Shape it into a spiral and place it on a plate. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 60 minutes. When you're ready to bake: 1. Preheat your oven to 390°F (or 200°C if you're feeling fancy). 2. Lightly flour your work area again and stretch the dough to fit your baking pan. 3. Beat the egg and brush half of it over the dough. 4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, transfer the dough, and adjust it to fit the pan. Poke it all over with a fork, then make cuts every inch or so with a sharp knife. Brush the dough with the remaining egg wash. Finally: 1. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until it's beautifully golden, like the perfect tan. 2. The result? Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with flaky layers and an incredible aroma that will make you the hero of the kitchen. Go ahead, give it a try and enjoy the deliciousness!
